ROHTAS POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS

SASARAM-------------------------With the arrest of two persons, Rohtas police claimed to solve the mystery of murder of a professional dancer. The professional dancer was identified as Arti Kumari of Vishrampur village under Karwandiya police station in Rohtas district. The arrested miscreants were identified as Aditya Kumar, lover of the dancer and his aide Manjay Kumar. Both the miscreants were residents of Bhojpur district. Love affair was said to be the cause behind the incident.

Rohtas SP Roushan Kumar said that a professional dancer was killed on September 30, 2024. Aditya Kumar met the professional dancer Arti Kumari during a dance programme and fell in love. He promised her to bear all her expenses. Later both of them started living together and had a child. But later Aditya Kumar refused to bear her expenses and so she once again started to work as professional dancer which became a bone of contention in between them. On September 29, 2024, Aditya Kumar along with his aide Manjay Kumar reached the house of Arti Kumari and took her with him. They stayed in the house of one of acquaintances of Arti Kumari at Maliyabagh in the night on September 29, 2024. In the morning on September 30, 2024, Aditya Kumar, on pretext of leaving her home, took Arti Kumari to Kanchanpur village and shot her dead. He fled from the scene leaving her body on the roadside. The Karvandiya police recovered her from under a tree under sub-conscious stage and admitted her to Zamuhar hospital but the doctor referred her to the higher centre but she succumbed to her injuries on way to the higher centre. An FIR was lodged with the police in this regard. During investigation it came to light that two persons were involved in the murder. Later the Rohtas police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart arrested both of them when they were planning to go to Vindhyachal in Uttar Pradesh.
