ROHTAS POLICE ARREST THREE YOUTHS WITH FIREARMS

Sasaram (RNI) Rohtas police arrested three youths in connection with firing at a girl student and sent them to jail under judicial custody. The police seized a two-barrel country made pistol, two live cartridges, one blank cartridge and a motorcycle used in the incident. The arrested miscreants were identified as Anish Kumar son of Sushil Singh of Kumhaura village Ashok Kumar son of Kameshwar Singh Deepak Kumar son of Vasudeo Singh of Vishunpura village.

SHO Dinara police station Vinay Kumar said that a girl student had gone to her school on Ara-Mohania National Highway under Dinara police station to take provisional certificate at about 11am on March 12, 2024 when motorcycle borne armed miscreants fired at her and injured her. An FIR was lodged with the police under Dinara police station on the statement of Kapil Munni of Khanita village and grandfather of the girl. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested Anish Kumar son of Sushil Singh, main accused of the incident. He admitted his involvement in the firing at the girl. On his revelation, the police also arrested Ashok Kumar son of Kameshwar Singh and Deepak Kumar son of Vasudeo Singh of Vishunpura village. The SHO further said that during interrogation, the youths confessed that Anish Kumar was in love with the girl but the girl had blocked his instagram account and the mobile number for some time and so Anish Kumar was living under mental tension. Anish Kumar admitted that in fume, he planned and with the help of his friends, fired at the girl.
