ROHTAS POLICE ARREST A MURDERER FROM BIKRAMGANJ

SASARAM-------------------------Rohtas police arrested a miscreat from Kuraishi locality under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district in connection with a murder and sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreant was identified as Tunna Pandey.

Bikramganj DSP Kumar Sanjay said that Tunna Pandey along with his son Vivek Pandey had his nephew Pankaj Pandey at Toda village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district and since he was absconding. Land dispute was said to be cause behind the incident. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Dinara police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigaingn the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Meanwhile, the police got information that Tunna Pandey had taken shelter in the house of Azad Quraishi of Quraishi locality under Bikramganj police station. The police immediately went there and the police conducted raid in the house of Azad Quraishi, the locals scuffled with the police and also pelted with stones but the police somehow arrested Tunna Pandey in drunken state. The DSP further said that Tunna Pandey had criminal history and about a dozen criminal cases of different natures are pending with the police under Bikramganj police station against Tunna Pandey
