ROAD BLOCKED AFTER THE MURDER OF A YOUTH IN BUXAR

BUXAR (RNI) One youth was thrashed at Nimez village under Bhrampur police station in Buxar district and was admitted to the Community Health Centre at Raghunathpur but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition where he succumhed to his injuries during treatment. The deceased was identified as Guddu Yadav 35 son of Ram Narayan Yadav of Nivez village. As the body came to Nimez village, the villagers became agitated and blocked the Brahmpur Chaurasta with the body and paralyzead movement of vehicles for about three hours. They were demanding arrest of the miscreants and compensation for the family members of the deceased. They also blamed two youths of the village of the murder and demanded their arrest at once. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officials. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Brahmpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Deepak Kumar Yadav, nephew of the deceased said that a dance programme was organized at a temple on the occasion of Ravi Das Jayanti at Nimez village. He stated that Roushan Ojha and Shashikant Ojha took Guddu Yadav from the site on a motorcycle on a pretext of realizing revenue but he did not return home. The family members searched for him everywhere and when failed, they went to the houses of Roushan Ojha and Shashikant Ojha but they were absconding. He said that the miscreants had tharshed and threw him on the other side of Dharmawati river whence the police admitted him to Community Health Centre at Raghunthpur but the doctor referred him to the PMCH in precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
