RIGOROUS LIFE IMPRISONMENT TO ONE FOR MURDER

ARA (RNI) Additional District and Session Judge XIII, Ara Civil Court, Aditya Suman awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Rahul Kumar son of Gopal Prasad of Bhakura village and also slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 in connection with murder.

APP Nagendra Prasad Singh said that some miscreants had beaten up Nirmala Kuer with brick killed at the courtyard of her house at Bhakura village under Ara Muffassil police station on January 27, 2022. Her son had lodged an FIR with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard against unknown persons. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter. During investigation, the police arrested Rahul Kumar of Bhakura village who confessed that he had killed her with bricks. The police had sent the samples of her blood stained clothes and the clothes of the murderer to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to Patna. The report confirmed that the blood groups found on the clothes of both the persons was the same.

After hearing both the parties, theADJ, XIII, Rahul Kumar convicted Rahul Kumar and awarded rigorous life imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 on him.
