RIGOROUS LIFE IMPRISONMENT TO NINE
Additional District and Session Judge IV, Buxar Civil Court, Vijendra Kumar awarded rigorous life imprisonment to nine persons in connection with a dacoity and attempt to murder case committed on August 17, 1993 and also slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 on each of them. Additional six months imprisonment will have to be spent if the fine was not paid.
BUXAR (RNI) Additional District and Session Judge IV, Buxar Civil Court, Vijendra Kumar awarded rigorous life imprisonment to nine persons in connection with a dacoity and attempt to murder case committed on August 17, 1993 and also slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 on each of them. Additional six months imprisonment will have to be spent if the fine was not paid. The court awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Lalu Ahir, Bihari Ahir, Mangal Ahir, Bageshar Ahir, Shiv Sagar Ahir, Vijay Yadav, Gangasagar, Badak Yadav and Raghuwar Yadav of Tilak Rai ke Hata under Simari police station in Buxar district.
APP Vinod Kumar Singh said that nine armed miscreant broke into the house of Budan Yadav at Tilak Rai Ke Hata under Simari police station in Buxar district on August 17, 2023 and decamped with booty worth lakhs of rupees. When protested, the miscreants shot at and injured two family members Ramjanm Yadav and Saral Yadav. An FIR was lodged with the police under Simari police station in this regard.
The ADJ convicted all the nine named accused on December 22, 2023 as all the accused on moving on bail. The court fixed January 5, 2024 to announce quantum of punishment. With the announcement of punishment, the police arrested all the named accused and sent them to jail.
