ARA------------------------------Additional District and Session Judge X, Ara Civil Court Devanand Mishra awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment to two persons and also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on each of them in connection with ganja smuggling.
Special Public Prosecutor NDPC Rana Pratap Singh said that the then BDO, Koelwar, Vijay Kumar Mishra along with policei force had conducted raid near Hanuman Temple at the Sakadi village under Koelwar police station on January 8, 2022 and arrested two drug peddlers Surendra Suna of Beharaguda village of Karaput district in Odhisa and Munni Devi of Belguda village in Vaishali district of Bihar and also seized 13 kilogram of ganja.
After hearing both the parties, the ADJ X awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment to Surendra Suna and Munni Devi and also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on each of them.
