Buxar, 21 June 2023, (RNI): Additional District and Session Judge III, Buxar Civil Court, Manoj Kumar awarded rigorous life imprisonment to a person and also slapped a fine of Rs. one lakh on each of them in connection with murder.
APP Binrendra Kumar Srivastava said that a programme was organized in the house of Nand Kishore Singh at Garhata Khurd village under Bhrahmpur police station in Buxar district on November 14, 2014 and several persons had come to watch the programme. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh and Ankush Singh called Ranjeet Singh and took him outside of the house and shot him dead. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bhrahmpur police station.
After hearing both the parties the ADJ III convicted Rinku Singh under section 302 IPC and awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Rinku Singh and also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 lakh but the court acquitted Ankush Singh of the charges for want of evidences against him.
