ARA-------------------------One retired Subedar was crushed to death near Tetaria Mor Brahm Sthan under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Sasaram main road in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Judge Singh son of late Chandrama Singh of Sarathua Ward No 4 village under Udwantnagar police station who presently lived in his new house at Aditya Nagar locality near Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station. He was posted as Subedar in the Army Engineer Corps in Chennai and had retired from the service about 10 years ago. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Vakil Singh, brother of the deceased said that Judge Singh was going to temple near Tetaria Mor from his house on foot when a speeding auto-rickshaw from Brahmsthan dashed him from behind and injured him badly. After getting information, the family members reached and rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor declared him dead.
