RAIL TICKET BROKER ARRESTED

Ara, 14 April 2023, (RNI): RPF, Ara post arrested a railway ticket broker from Milki Bazaar under Krishnagarh police station of Badahara block in Bhojpur district and seized some railway tickets, cash, laptop and other equipment from his possession. The arrested ticket broker was identified as Golu Kumar son of Sunil Kumar of Milki Bazaar. Later the police sent him to jail after lodging FIR against him and interrogation.

SHO RPF Suman Kumari said that she got information that Golu Kumar was working as railway ticket brother charging excess amount from the passengers. She along with other police officers in civil uniform visited his office at Milki Bazaar under Krishnagarh police station of Badahara block as customer and asked for a railway ticket. As Golu Kumar demanded excess amount for the ticket, she and other police officials raided and arrested Golu Kumar and seized live tickets, laptop, printer, keyboard smart phone and Rs. 2680 in cash. She said that the action was taken at the direction of senior officials.
