RAIL POLICE SEIZED 6.455 KG OF GANJA FROM THE TRAIN

Ara (RNI) Ara Railway police seized 6.455 kilogram of ganja from a lavatory of Sleeper Coach No-193620 of 13287 South Bihar Express train at Platform No 4 of Ara railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur.

SHO Railway Protection Force said that she got information that some intoxicants are being smuggled from Ara from the 13287 South Bihar Express. He at once swung into action and conducted raid in the Sleeper Coach No 193620 and recovered 6.455 kg of ganja packed in a bag and left at the gate of the lavatory of the train unattended from there. When the police queried about the article, everyone showed ignorance. Later the police prepared inventory in the presence of the passengers of the train and handed over the GRP for further action. The FIR lodged an FIR in this regard.
