PROFESSIONAL DACNER KILLED IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

SASARAM---------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a 20 year old professional dancer at Jamuhar under Sasaram Muffassil police station in the night on September 30, 2024. Irate villagers blocked the Post Office round about at Sasaram in Rohtas district today with the body of the deceased. They were demanding arrest of the miscreant. Later the police somehow persuaded the agitating people and the blockade could be lifted. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Sasaram Muffassil police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant.

Family members of the deceased said that Arati Kumari of Vishrampur under Karwandia police station was a professional dancer and she was in good relation with Aditya Singh of Tetriya village for the last two years who decoyed and took Arati Kumari with him in pretext of buying I-Phone for her but she was found in unconscious stage at Jamuhar village under Sasaram Muffassil police station of Dehari in Rohtas district in the late evening on September 30, 2024. The family members rushed her to the hospital where doctors declared her dead. Her family members blamed that Aditya Singh had thrashed her earlier and this time he killed her.

Muskan Kumari, sister of the deceased said that someone had called her to Dehari but at about 8.30pm it was informed that someone had shot her dead. She further said that five bullets were taken out from her body in the hospital.

DSP Dilip Ranjan said that the deceased had some tiff with her husband who had called her to Dehari to meet her but later she was killed and her husband was absconding since the incident.
