PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDS AT THE ARA SADAR HOSPITAL BEAT UP POLICE CONSTABLE AFTER HE RAISED HAND TO SLAP THEM

ARA (RNI) Private security guards at the Ara Sadar Hospital thrashed and injured the police constable after he tried to slap them. The injured police personnel were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured police man was identified as Sabir Raza 39 son of Harun Ashraf of Salempur village under Paliganj police station in Jehanabad district and is posted at the Nawada police station. A video of the incident has become viral on the social media. On information, the ASP Parichay Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot and arrested five private guards after verifying the incident through the CCTV footage. The arrested private security guards were identified as Sanjay Kumar Singh, Security-in-charge, Supervisor Ghanshyam Upadhayaya, Garden Mahesh Chaudhary, Mainuddin Ansari and Rajesh Singh.

The injured police constable Sabir Raza said that he was deputed as constable at 112 police vehicle of the Nawada police station when information received that an elderly person was lying on the roadside at Anaith locality under Nawada police station unattended. The police vehicle rushed there and brought the elderly person to the Ara Sadar Hospital were the private security guards asked for his family members that invited altercation in between the police and the guards and the private security guards thrashed him with tradition weapons and injured him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the police personnel and private security guards at the Ara Sadar Hospital had an altercation over a trivia issue and the private security guards thrashed a police constable and injured him. On information, the ASP Parichay Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot and arrested five private security guards after going through the CCTV footage. He said that the CCTV footage is being verified and legal action would be taken if some other guards were found guilty.

On the other hand, security guards at the Ara Sadar Hospital said that they had only asked for the family members of the elderly person and the police constable raised hand to slap them. They further said that they were army personnel and after retirement are doing the job of private security guards. They cannot pocket the insult and raisings of hands to thrash them. They stated that the police constable provoked them to do take action against him.

It will be pertinent here to note that some police personnel especially lady police constables and officers posted at different police station always bulldozed the law abiding citizens and even the media persons and threatened them with dire consequences. Whenever someone queried about something or incident, they threatened by showing off their uniforms. People said that the police personnel and the lady police constables and lady police officers particularly of 2018 batch always behaves rudely with each and every one and if such activities continue, creation atmosphere of the much hyped police-public friendship might be at stake.
