BHABHUA--------------------------Kaimur police with the help of their Varanasi counterpart recovered a school teacher. The teacher was identified as Anita Yadav posted as an Assistant teacher at Primary School, Fakarabad under Kudara police station in Kaimur district.
SDPO Mohania Dilip Kumar said that Anita Yadav of Uttar Pradesh passed the BPSC examination and joined a primary school at Fakrabad under Kudara police station in Kaimur district in Bihar as an Assistant teacher. She disappeared from her school abruptly on August 23, 2024. Her brother Ramesh Yadav son of Indrajeet Yadasv of Sonari village post Ahilaspur district Mau in Uttar Pradesh had lodged an FIR No 308/24 dated 25.08.2024 with the police under Kudara police station under sectkn 87 BNS regarding kidnapping of her sister Anita Kumar, a teacher in the Primary School. In the FIR he said that his sister Anita Yadav had gone to her school at Fakrabad on August 23, 2024 but she neither reached school nor returned home. After institution of FIR, the Kaimur police advertised the news on social media. Meanwhile, the police were tipped off and the Kaimur police with the help of their Varanasi counterpart recovered the teacher from her old rented house under Lanka police station in Varanasi district, Uttar Pradesh on July 29, 2024.
During interrogation, the teacher Anita Yadav told the police that she had taken a one day leave from her school to visit Hardwar, Ayodhya, Lucknow. She lost her mobile on way and as she could not recall the mobile number of the house, she could not inform them. She further said that she was not kidnapped and she had gone on her sweet will.
But she later changed her statement and said that she was in touch with two youths but one of them forbade her to talk to another youth and also threatened to commit suicide if she did not yield to his command. She was frightened if he commits suicide, she would be unnecessarily implicated in case. She came out of her house to commit suicide and loitered hither and thither for about four days. And later went to her old rented house in Varanasi whence the police recovered her. The Kaimur police produced her in the Bhabhua Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 183 of BNSS.
