In order to get rid of the problem of seating capacity of students due to increasing attendance of children in the schools after strict action, the Education Department has prepared an action plan to build premade structure classrooms of 700 square feet area in 118 schools in Bhojpur district. At least Rs.5 lakh will be spent on making premade structure classrooms in each school. ARA-------------------------In order to get rid of the problem of seating capacity of students due to increasing attendance of children in the schools after strict action, the Education Department has prepared an action plan to build premade structure classrooms of 700 square feet area in 118 schools in Bhojpur district. At least Rs.5 lakh will be spent on making premade structure classrooms in each school. Thus approximately Rs.5.9 crore will be spent on making premade structure classrooms in 118 schools in Bhojpur district.
It may be noted here that in the free-floating structure classroom, 45mm steel, iron frame of 2.5inch square column and 1.5 inch square pipe will be installed. At least Rs.80,000 will be spent in pre-construction and this will include plywood frame for plywood and painting work. The pre-built structure will have four windows, two ceiling fans and two doors and Rs. 50,000 will be spent for benches and desks besides Rs. 3000 on electronic goods.
Due to continuous monitoring in the school, the attendance of students is very high and the school management is facing a lot of problems in accommodating students is class rooms as the classrooms and space are falling short so the education department finds premade structure classroom as a better option for immediate arrangement of seating students in schools and so structure classrooms are being constructed.
Pre-fab structure classrooms will be built in 14 blocks of Bhojpur district out of which maximum 22 are in Koelwar block, 12 in Udwantnagar block, 4 in Sandesh block, 4 in Ara block, 2 in Charpokhari block, 5 in Piro block, 5 in Tarai block, 15 in Gadhani block, 14 in Badahara block, 8 in Sahar block, 8 in Shahpur block, 7 in Bihia block, 6 in Agiaw block and 6 in Jagdishpur block.
District Education Officer, Bhojpur, Ahasan said that in the light of the order of the Education Department, Prefab structure classrooms will be built in 118 schools in Bhojpur district with a estimated cost of Rs. 5.9 crore so that children studying in schools will not face any problem in the classrooms.
