POTATO TRADER SHOT DEAD IN BHOJPUR DISTRICT
Motorcycle borne three armed miscreants shot dead a potato trader on an auto-rickshaw near Trimurtiya-Devghar under Jagdishpur police station on NH-30 in Bhojpur district when he was returning home with his son in the evening after closing his shop at Judge Bazaar under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district. The miscreants escaped from the scene after the incident. Later the Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Ara (RNI) Motorcycle borne three armed miscreants shot dead a potato trader on an auto-rickshaw near Trimurtiya-Devghar under Jagdishpur police station on NH-30 in Bhojpur district when he was returning home with his son in the evening after closing his shop at Judge Bazaar under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district. The miscreants escaped from the scene after the incident. Later the Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Munmuh Sah 56 son of late Heera Lal Sah of Kotawali locality under Jagdishpur police station. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Munmun Sah had potato shop near Judge Bazaar under Bihia police station for the last 40 years and he used to go to his shop daily at about 5am and returned home late night. In the previous night he was returning home along with his son Sonu Kumar on an auto-rickshaw when motorcycle borne three armed miscreants overtook the auto-rickshaw and pumped bullet into the body of Munmun Sah and killed him on spot and escaped from the scene.
