POLICE RECOVERED KIDNAPPED YOUTH, ARRESTED THREE KIDNAPPERS FROM BHOJPUR

Ara, 22 March 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police recovered Vivek Kumar 28 from near a Agiaw Bazaar temple under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district and also arrested three kidnappers. The police had arrested one kidnapper Aditya Kumar alias Ravi of Arwal district from Muzzaffarpur earlier.

Some unidentified miscreants had kidnapped Vivek Kumar 28 son of Dr. S P Singh from area under Kanti police station in Muzzaffarpur on March 17, 2023 evening when he was going to attend a party. The kidnappers demanded Rs. 30 lakh ransom from the doctor from the mobile of Vivek Kumar. An FIR was lodged with the police under Kanti police station regarding kidnapping of Vivek Kumar and demanding of Rs. 30 lakh ransom. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and a police team was formed. The police identified the Scorpio used in the kidnapping with the help of CCTV footage. The Scorpio was registered in Bhojpur district. Later the Muzzarffarpur police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart conducted several areas under different police stations in Bhojpur district and seized the Scorpio used in the kidnapping and arrested the driver Radhe Shyam Yadav from Narayanpur village under the same police station in Bhojpur district. On his revelation, the police arrested the main conspirator Amrit alias Satyam Kushwaha of Narayanpur village under Narayanpur police station. The police also arrested Chandan alias Mittal from Jagdeonagar under Nawada police station. He is a resident of Chauri village under the same police station. Muzzarffarpur police had already arrested Ravi alias Aditya Kumar who had played a role of liner, spilled beams on the kidnapping that helped police to recover Vivek Kumar. On the revelation of Ravi, the police could recovered Vivek Kumar from near Agiaw Bazaar temple under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district. Later the Muzzaffarpur police took all the arrested kidnappers and Vivek Kumar with them to Muzzaffarpur.

During interrogation, the kidnappers confessed that Ravi alias Aditya Kumar in loss in his business and so he planned to kidnap the son of his landlord Dr S P, Singh and promised his friends to Rs. 70000 to each of them.
