Government Rail Police, Ara recovered body of a person from the bogie of passenger train at Platform No 3 at Ara under Danapur rail Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

ARA-------------------------Government Rail Police, Ara recovered body of a person from the bogie of passenger train at Platform No 3 at Ara under Danapur rail Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Dharmendra Rau 43 son of late Bhagwan Rai of Anaith Mathia Ward No 43 under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was a labourer by profession.
Ajay Rai, younger brother of the deceased said that Dharmendra Rai had gone to his relative at Kurthaila in Patna district on April 19, 2024 to participate in a marriage ceremony but he did not return and so the family members thought he might have stayed with his relatives. Meanwhile, the Ara GRP informed that his elder brother Dharmendra Rai has died in the bogie of a passenger train. On information, the family members arrived at the GRP, Ara. He added that the reason behind the death is clear and only postmortem report will confirm the reason of the death though the GRP in its death review report mentioned that the cause of the death is extreme weakness.
