POLICE RECOVERED A KIDNAPPED YOUTH, ARREST TWO PERSONS INCLUDING A WOMAN

Ara, 26 March 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a woman from Buxar district in connection with kidnapping of a youth Amit Kumar Pandey of Bhaluhai village Baghauli police station in Rohtas district about six months ago. The arrested woman was identified as Nandini Devi of Amheta village. Later the police sent her to jail after interrogation.

SHO Agiaw Bazaar police station said that some miscreants had kidnapped Amit Kumar Pandey of Bhaluhai village Baghauli police station from near Bikramganj in Rohtas district about six months ago when he was returning to his native village from Varanasi. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station in this regard. After institution of FIR the police swung into action and started conducting raids at different places to recover the youth and also to arrest the kidnappers. Meanwhile, the SHO Agiaw Bazaar police station got information that the youth was confined in a room at Amheta village in Buxar district. The police immediately conducted raid at Amheta village and recovered the youth from a room at Amheta village. The police also arrested Jai Ram Karmkar. On his revelation, the police arrested Nandini Devi of Amheta village from Buxar in this regard and sent her to jail after interrogation.
