POLICE ARREST ONE MISCREANT WITH CACHE OF ARMS

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant and seized country made two rifles, one carbine, one country made pistol and eight live cartridges. The arrested miscreant was identified as Purnmasi Yadav of Kolodihari village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Chauri police station in this regard and later the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The police arrested him when he was planning to commit crime.

Bhojpur SP Neeraj Kumar Singh that the police got information that Purnmasi Ram Yadav of Kolodihari village under Chauri police station kept cache of arms in his cowshed and was trying to commit crime. He immediately swung into action and formed a police under the Piro SDPO Rahul Kumar Singh. When the police team reached the Kolodihari village under Chauri police station, Purnmasi Yadav tried to escape but the police chased and arrested him. The police also searched the cowshed and recovered one country made rifle, one carbine, three live cartridges and a mobile. Later on his revelation, the police also conducted raid in the house of Pappu Yadav at Rajpur village under Imadpur police station and recovered a country made rifle, one country made pistol and five live cartridges from there though the police could not arrest Pappu Yadav.

The SP further said that cases are pending against Purnmasi Yadav who was arrested with cache of arms under Chauri police station under different section of IPC.
