PERSON COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER OUTRAGING MODESTY OF A SALES GIRL IN BUXAR VILLAGE
One person outraged modesty of a sales girl and later committed suicide by consuming poison at Rampur village in Buxar district.
Buxar, 20 July 2023, (RNI): One person outraged modesty of a sales girl and later committed suicide by consuming poison at Rampur village in Buxar district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police also brought the girl to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for medical examination and produced her in the Buxar Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC.
A 20 year old sales girl was selling mosquito repellant machine at Rampur village in Buxar district in the evening on July 19, 2023. A 40 year old person Pradeep called her inside the house on the pretext of purchasing the machine. As the girl entered the house, he closed the door of the house and outraged her modesty. The girl somehow freed herself from his clutch and came out of the house and raised alarm. She also narrated her woes to the villagers. Seeing all this, Pradeep, afraid of social stigma, consumed poison and committed suicide. On the information of villagers, the police arrived at the spot and rushed the person to the Buxar Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
