PANCHAYATI RAJ DEPARTMENT JE ARRESTED TAKING Rs. 30,000 BRIBE
A team of Vigilance Department arrested the Junior Engineer (JE), Panchayati Raj Department red handed taking Rs. 30,000 in cash from a contractor. The arrested JE was identified as Bhola Paswan of Jamauli village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district.
Buxar, 23 June 2023, (RNI): A team of Vigilance Department arrested the Junior Engineer (JE), Panchayati Raj Department red handed taking Rs. 30,000 in cash from a contractor. The arrested JE was identified as Bhola Paswan of Jamauli village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district.
DSP Vigilance Department said that the JE had demanded Rs.95,000 to get the MB book passed of the Nal-Jal Yojana from a contractor who complained the Vigilance department. A team of the Vigilance department stayed at Buxar for three days and recce the JE. The DSP said the contractor went to the JE to give Rs. 30,000 as first installment and the JE called him at his Sugar Mill residence where the team of the Vigilance Department caught the JE while taking Rs. 30,000 from the contractor red handed and took him to the Patna.
