OVER 50 PERSONS FELL ILL AFTER EATING FOOD
Over 50 persons including elderly persons, children and women fell ill after eating food in a marriage ceremony at Itawa village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district and were admitted to the Shahpur Referral hospital.
Ara (RNI) Over 50 persons including elderly persons, children and women fell ill after eating food in a marriage ceremony at Itawa village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district and were admitted to the Shahpur Referral hospital.
Ailing persons said that they had gone to the house of Amit Kumar of Itawa village under Shahpur police station to participate in a banquet there where they ate food. After eating food, suddenly they fell ill and starting vomiting and stomachache. They were admitted to the Shahpur Referral Hospital.
Dr. Atiullah Ansari, in-charge medical officer, Referral Hospital, Shahpur said that 52 persons of food poisoning were admitted and at present all of them are out of danger. About half a dozen ailing persons have been referred to the Ara Sadar Hospital for better treatment.
