One youth was shot death in a pleasure firing at Dharampur village under Sandesh police station during a marriage ceremony there.
Ara, 27 May 2023, (RNI): One youth was shot death in a pleasure firing at Dharampur village under Sandesh police station during a marriage ceremony there. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Sandesh police station. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant. The deceased was identified as Bittu Kumar 25 of Jogwalia village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. After the death of his father, he lived with his uncle (fufa) Lav Kush Singh at Dharmpura village under Sandesh police station and worked in a medical store at Gothhula Bazaar.
SHO Ara Muffassil police station said that a marriage ritual of the son of Lav Kush Singh at Dharampura village under Sandesh police station was going on and a dance programme was organized on the occasion. Bittu was also there and was watching the dance programme when someone fired and Bittu received bullet injuries and was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital but Bittu Succumbed to his injuries on way to the PMCH. Though the family members of the deceased did not inform the police but as the police got information, the police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter.
