ONE YOUTH SHOT DEAD
Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Chakia Bridge under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district when he was returning home along with his cousin brother.
Ara, 4 May 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Chakia Bridge under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district when he was returning home along with his cousin brother. The deceased was identified as Prince Kumar Rai 25 son of Siddeshwar Rai alias Tumul Rai of Koyal village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. Later the police recovered the body and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR was lodged with the police under Tarari police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the misreants.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he formed a police team to inquire into the matter and also requisitioned Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team. He said that police are interrogating the family members and the persons including the cousin brother with whom the deceased had gone but they were reluctant to reveal anything and tightlipped
