ONE WOMAN KILLED WHILE THREE INJURED INCLUDING TWO MINOR CHILDREN

ARA---------------------------One woman was killed while three others including two children were injured when speeding vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle near Basawaria Tola under Udwantnagar police station in the evening on August 31, 2023. The deceased was identified as Laxmi Kumari 30 wife of Sudhir Ranjan of Kesath village under Navanagar police station in Buxar district while the injured were identified as Sudhir Ranjan 40 and his two minor children Sakiksha 11 and Rishabh Raj 9. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The police also seized the motorcycle.

SHO Udwantnagar police station said that Sudhir Ranjan along with his wife Laxmi Kumari and two minor children Samiksha and Rishabh Ran of Kesath village under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district was going to his in-laws’ house at Sripalpur under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district on the occasion of Rakhi where Laxmi Kumari had to tie rakhi to her brother. As he reached near Baswaria Tola under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district, a speeding vehicle collided head-on and injured all the persons on a motorcycle. The villagers informed the police about the incident. The police rushed to the spot and admitted all the four persons to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared Laxmi Kumari dead.
