ONE SHOT AT, INJURED

Ara, 11 February 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a middle aged person near Mathia at Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station in the morning today when he was on morning walk. The injured was identified as Umesh Rai 45 son of late Jainath Rai of Zamira Ward No 7. The injured was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Umesh Rai said that he was on morning walk when two unidentified veiled armed miscreants came near Zamira Mathia and shot at and injured him. He said that he had contested election for the post of mukhia of Zamira panchayat and had quarreled with a person of the village in which an FIR was lodged at that time.
