SASARAM----------------------One Dharmendra Singh was shot at and injured at Gamharia village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district after he lost the PACS election. The injured was admitted to the hospital. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station against eight persons including the PACS president, Nand Jee Singh on the statement of Nand Lal Singh father of the injured. Later the police arrested the newly elected PACS president Nand Jee Singh in the night. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest named accused in the matter.
SHO Bikramganj police station said that Dharmendra Singh and Nand Jee Singh were contesting the Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) election for the post of president in which Nand Jee Singh was elected. After being elected, Nand Jee singh along with his aides went to the house of Dharmendra Singh where after some altercation in between the two, Ranjeet Singh, one of the aides of Nand Jee Singh, shot at and injured Dharmendra Singh. Considering Dharmendra Singh dead, the attackers ran away from the scene shouting slogans.
