ONE PERSON BEATEN TO DEATH IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) One person was beaten to death at Gundi village under Krishnagarh police station today. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Pradeep Singh son Shiv Shankar Singh of Gundi village. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station against Sandeep Singh, Shiv Shankar Singh and Punak Devi on the statement of the wife of the deceased in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused. Property dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident.

Lilavati Devi, wife of the deceased said that his brother-in-law (devar) Sandip Singh, mother-in-law Punam Devi and father-in-law Shiv Shankar Singh always thrashed her and her husband over a piece of land. In the evening, they thrashed her and her husband badly. She went to her father at Bhedia village under Ara Muffassil police station along with her minor daughter Pallavi 10 and son Piyush 6 out of fear. Meanwhile, the named accused further beat her husband and killed him. She got the information of the death of her husband and rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital and added that her in-laws fled away from the scene after killing her husband. Even the minor daughter of the deceased, Pallavi said that her uncle, grandfather and grandmother always beat up her father and mother.

Ara SDPO-2  Ranjeet Kumar said that a youth was killed at Gundi village and he has directed the SHO Krishnagarh police station to take action in this regard and arrest the miscreants at the earliest.
