ONE MURDER ACCUSED ARRESTED
-Bhojpur police arrested an accused in the murder of a person from Gajrajganj Bazaar under the Gajrajganj police outpost and sent him to jail after interrogation though two other named accused are still absconding.
Ara, 24 February 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested an accused in the murder of a person from Gajrajganj Bazaar under the Gajrajganj police outpost and sent him to jail after interrogation though two other named accused are still absconding. Police are conducting raids to arrest them. The arrested accused was identified as Bagendan Yadav alias Dharmendra Yadav son of Jagnarayan Yadav of Kalyanpur under Bihia police station.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that one Samayu Tiraha was killed near Bhutnath Temple on Chhotaka Sasaram four lane on January 12, 2023 merely for protesting sell of liquor in the area. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost against Jagnarayan Yadav, his sons Bagendan Yadav alias Dharmendra Yadav and Principal Yadav in this regard. The SP said that he formed a police team that on a confidential information, arrested Bagendan Yadav alias Dharmendra Yadav from Gajrajgaj Bazaar and sent him to jail after interrogation. He added that the police are conducting raids to arrest the rest two and hoped that the police would arrest them at the earliest.
