ONE MONTH SUMMER CAMP CONCLUDED WITH PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY
One month long Summer Camp organized under the banner of ‘Aim in Motion’ (AIM) concluded at Nagari Pracharini Sabhagar today. the Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) Indu Devi, Social Worker, Vishnu Singh, Principal, R S Memorial School, Shashikala Singh, Managing Director, PC Computer, Malati Gupta, Convener, All India Theatre Council Ashok Manav jointly inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Ara, 26 June 2023, (RNI): One month long Summer Camp organized under the banner of ‘Aim in Motion’ (AIM) concluded at Nagari Pracharini Sabhagar today. the Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) Indu Devi, Social Worker, Vishnu Singh, Principal, R S Memorial School, Shashikala Singh, Managing Director, PC Computer, Malati Gupta, Convener, All India Theatre Council Ashok Manav jointly inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Director, AIM Shashi Sagar Babbu honoured the distinguished guests by giving them ‘angvastra’ and letter of appreciation. O P Kashyap conducted the meeting and Shashi Sagar Babboo extended vote of thanks.
Speaking on the occasion Mayor, AMC Indu Devi greeted the people and wished the children well and said that they should go forward in every field and also respect their elders.
Vishnu Singh advised the guardians to stay away from mobiles and also keep kids from it. Seeing the paintings, he could believe that they were handmade and he gave Rs. 1100 to the painter Ayush who made the painting.
Principal Shashikala Singh said that as a teacher she advised the children to keep themselves away from mobiles and thanked the AIM to keep the arts alive. She said as to what is the need of mobile when there are so many institutions to impart training on so many dimensions of arts. Children pay attention to their physical development, said she and added that she is always with the institution for any need related to education.
Ashok Manav said that cultural history of Ara is so rich that it is calle ‘Mini Kashi’ and added that Shashi Sagar Babboo is an accomplished artist who made a significant contribution to the history of Ara’s theatre. He recalled several names of renowned artists who contribute a lot to the theatre.
The function started with presentation based on ‘Hanuman Chalisa that kept the audience spell bound. The children gave single, dual and group presentation including a presentation depicted acid attack through dance that gave the audience goose bumps. At the same time, model girls came in the children’s fancy dress and make-up also attracted the people. Later the participants were given prizes.
It may be mentioned here that at least 200 persons from age group 3 to 60 years participated in the summer camp organized from May 25, 2023 and got training in different arts. Sam Piyush imparted training on Guitar and singing, Aman Srivastava painting, Shivangi Kesari mehandi, Varsha Khan on beautician, Sonu sharma and Avinash Gupta on dance.
