ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED
-One youth was killed while two other injured when a Pick-Up van collided head-on with their motorcycle near Manbhawan Chowk under Koelwar polcice station in Bhojpur district.
Ara, 4 June 2023, (RNI): One youth was killed while two other injured when a Pick-Up van collided head-on with their motorcycle near Manbhawan Chowk under Koelwar polcice station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured admitted to the Koelwar Primary Health Centre but the doctors referred them to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Rahul Rai 26 son of Police Rai of Digha Niralanagar in Patna district while the injured were identified as Vivek Kumar and Hakim Rai 25 son of late Lal Babu Rai of Digha Niralanagar. The driver of the Pick-Up van escaped towards Ara after the incident with the vehicle from the spot.
SHO Koe.war police station said that Rahul Rai along with his two friends, Vivek Kumar and Hakim Rai of Niralanagar in Patna district had gone to Bhadwar village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on a motorcycle to attend a marriage ceremony. After the marriage ceremony was solemnized, the trio set out for Patna on a motorcycle, a speeding Pick-Up collided head-on with the motorcycle near Manbhawan Chowk under Koelwar police station on Ara-Patna main road killing Rahul Rai on spot and injuring the rest two.
