ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED

Sasaram, 4 May 2023, (RNI): One youth was killed while two other injured when a motorcycle collided head-on with a bus near Gunsej village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district in the night on Ara-Mohania NH-30. The deceased was identified as Doctor Chaudhary son of late Sarayu Chaudhary of Mehan Tola under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district while the injured was identified as Kalika Chaudhary and an elderly person Kameshwar Giri of Bahyara village under Natwar police station in Rohtas district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.

SHO Dinara police station said that Doctor Chaudhary along with Kalika Chaudhary was going to Bhaluni  Dham under Dinara police station from Mehal Tola under Jagdishpur police station on a motorcycle to attend marriage ceremony while a bus was going to Sonbarsha to a tilak ceremony of the daughter of Ajay Giri there from Mathia village of Bhanupur Panchayat under Dinara police station in Rohtas district. Near Gunsez village under Dinara police station, the bus collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Doctor Chaudhary on spot and injuring the pillion driver. After the incident, the driver of the bus tried to escape at great speed went over a newly constructed bridge. The tyre of the bus gone phut and the driver lost control over the steering and the bus fell into a ditch injuring an elderly person on the bus. The driver of the bus escaped from the scene.
