ONE KILLED, ONE INJURED
-One youth was killed while another was injured when a speeding vehicle collided head-on with their motorcycle on Bikramganj-Natwar main road in Rohtas district in the morning.
Sasaram, 17 June 2023, (RNI): One youth was killed while another was injured when a speeding vehicle collided head-on with their motorcycle on Bikramganj-Natwar main road in Rohtas district in the morning. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured in a private clinic in unconscious stage where he is struggling for life. The deceased was identified as Durgesh Sah 26 son of Sri Bhagwan Sah of Medhara village while the pillion rider who is injured is identified as Rohit Kumar son of Dinesh Paswan.
Khairabhudhar PACS president Sunil Singh said that Durgesh Sah along with Rohit Kumar was going to Natwar from Medhara village on a motorcycle and when he reached near Dangara Bridge, a speeding vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Durgesh Sah on spot and injuring Rohit Kumar seriously. Later the driver escaped with the vehicle from the scene.
Sri Bhagwan Sah said that his on Durgesh Sah was married in the year 2020 and he worked a private firm in Ludhiyana in Punjab he had come two months ago when he was blessed with a son.
Circle Officer Alok Chandra Ranjan said that the wife of the deceased will get Rs. 5 lakh while the injured will get compensation as per the seriousness of injuries.
