ONE KILLED, ONE INJURED

Ara, 18 May 2023, (RNI): One teenage girl was killed while injured one person when their motorcycle collided with a Magic van near Bagawa Mor under Gadhani police station on Ara-Sasaram main road in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Though, a minor girl child somehow survived unhurt. The deceased was identified as a class IX student Shisham Kumari 13 daughter of Vinay Kumar of Edaura village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district while the injured was identified as Hareram Sah 26 son of Amirchand Sah of Chaturbhuz Baraw village under Piro police station.

Anil Kumar, uncle of the deceased said that a marriage of the deceased’s sister Reshma Kumari ceremony was solemnized on May 15, 2023 and a marriage of Nitu Kumari cousin sister of the deceased and his daughter was to be solemnized. So Shisham Kumari along with her brother-in-law (jija) Hare Ram Sah and a minor girl of the village Mohani Kumari had gone to Gadhani Bazaar for purchasing from Edaura village on motorcycle. When they were returning, a speeding Magic van collided head on with their motorcycle near Bagawa Mor under Gadhani police station injuring the motorcycle riders though the minor girl Mohini Kumari escaped unhurt. The injured were rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but Shisham Kumari succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.
