Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Ramgarh under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district today when he was returning home on his motorcycle after purchasing.
Bhabhua, 6 March 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Ramgarh under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district today when he was returning home on his motorcycle after purchasing. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Chainpur police station four named and two unnamed persons in this regard on the statement of Yogendra Rajbhar, brother of the deceased. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. No arrest has so far been made in this regard.
SHO Chainpur police station Sanjay Kumar Pasi said that Yogendra Rajbhar, Chandan Rajbhar and Ashok Rajbhar sons of Siri Rajbhar of Ramgarh village under Chainpur police station were returning home on a motorcycle after shopping at Saidpur and when they reached near Chapari Pahad, a tractor was parked there and at least six persons Pankaj Yadav, Ajit Yadav, of Dharhara, Ajit Yadav and Madhyam Yadav of Ramgarh village and two unknown persons were standing there. They tried to snatch goods and also thrashed them. Later they intercepted their motorcycle and shot dead Chandan Rajbhar. The named accused had some old enmity with Chandan Rajbhar.
Sources said that Ajit Yadav of Ramgarh is a criminal and had been in jail in Uttar Pradesh in connection with murder and loot cases.
