ONE KILLED, ANOTHER INJURED

Buxar, 9 March 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants intruded a house and gunned down a youth and injured his nephew at Ojha Baraw village under Murar police station in Buxar district in the late evening on Holi on March 8, 2023. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police also admitted the injured there. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Murar police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Tension prevails in and around the area following the incident though situation is stated to be well under control. The deceased was identified as Thakur Yadav 42 son of Ram Chandra Yadav of Ojha Baraw under Murar police station while the injured was identified as Rahul Kumar Yadav 15 son of Bayul Yadav and nephew of the deceased.

SHO Murar police station said that two families of Ojha Baraw village under Murar police station had long standing enmity over piece of land. When they were celebrating Holi, some armed miscreants entered the house of Ram Chandra Yadav and shot dead Thakur Yadav and injured his nephew Rahul Yadav when they were sitting at the gate of their house.
