-One youth was crushed to death under the wheel of running train near Bihia railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur while crossing the rail track though his minor daughter Anshu Kumari 9 escaped unhurt.
Ara, 30 May 2023, (RNI): One youth was crushed to death under the wheel of running train near Bihia railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur while crossing the rail track though his minor daughter Anshu Kumari 9 escaped unhurt. The deceased was identified as Dinesh Sah 32 son of late Laxman Sah of Masadh village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district. The incident took place as the foot over bridge was closed for repairing work.
A goods train was standing at platform on down lice since afternoon so that people were crossing the rail track under the goods train. Meanwhile, Dinesh Sah along with his daughter Anshu Kumar was crossing the rail track to go to Karisath when he came in contact with a running train and was crushed to death while the passengers pulled his daughter to the platform and thus she was saved.
Dinesh Sah worked in a private firm in Mumbai and had come to his native village Karisath to attend a marriage of his cousin brother. He had three minor daughters and two sons. He had gone to Bihia Bazaar to buy slipper for his daughter and when he was returning home, he met an accident at Bihia railway station.
