ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA-------------------------One person was killed while three other injured when a speeding truck collided head-on with an e-rickshaw near Gowardhan Hill at Sahiyara Bazaar under Imadpur police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in Bhojpur district in the late evening on February 5, 2025. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there but the doctor referred all the injured persons to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Mansi Kumari while the injured were identified as Pawan Kumar son of Ramesh Singh, Akash Kumar son of Umesh Singh of Dhokaraha village under Imadpur police station and the driver of the e-rickshaw Anup Kumar.

SHO Imadpur police station said that marriage of Pawan Kumar was to be solemnized and so he along with Deepak Kumar and Mansi Kumar had come to his village at Dhokaraha from Surat a day before. All of them were going to Imadpur Bazaar on a e-rickshaw for shopping and when they reached near Gowardhan Hill at Sahiyara Bazaar under Imadpur police station, a speeding truck collided head-on with the e-rickshaw injuring all the persons including the driver. All were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital where Mansi Kumar succumbed to her injuries during treatment and the doctor referred all the injured to the PMCH in precarious condition.
