ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA---------------------------One person was killed while two other injured when a speeding truck dashed a motorcycle near Akhgaon village under Sandesh police station on Sakadi-Nasariganj main road in Bhojpur district. Police recovered the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Doctor referred one of the injured persons to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. After the incident, the driver tried to escape with the truck but the locals nabbed him and handed him to police. Later the police arrested the driver and also seized the truck. The deceased was identified as Shivam Kumar 18 son of late Kranti Yadav of Rampur village under Chandi police station while the injured were identified as Daya Shankar Singh 32 son of Ashok Kumar Singh and maternal uncle of the deceased of the same village and Shubham Kumar, younger brother of the deceased.

Maternal grandfather of the deceased Vijay Kumar Singh said that Daya Shankar Singh had gone to Akhgaon Bazaar village to bring back his nephews Shivam Kumar and Shubham Kumar from their school and when they were returning home on a motorcycle, a speeding truck collided with the motorcycle at the breaker near Akhgaon village on Sakadi-Nasariganj main road under Sandesh police station in which Shivam Kumar was killed on the spot while Daya Shankar Singh and Shubham Kumar were injured. The doctor referred Daya Shankar Singh to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition.
