ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED

ARA----------------------------One youth was killed while two others injured when a speeding Pick-Up van collided head-on with their motorcycle near Khaira village under Sahar police station on Ara-Arwal main road. Police brought the body to the Arwal Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there but the doctor referred them to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Munnu Chaudhary 20 son of Narad Chaudhary of Isarpura village under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district while the injured were identified as Mukesh Chaudhary 30 son of Nirmal Chaudhary and Pramod Chaudhary 24 son of late Patali Chaudhary of the same village. All of them were cousin brothers. The deceased was a labour by profession.

Amit Kumar Singh, family member of the deceased said that Mannu Chaudhary along with his cousin brothers Mukesh Chaudhary and Pramod Chaudhary was going to Arwal village in Arwal district for the negotiation of the marriage of Modi Chaudhary brother of Mukesh Chaudhary. When they reached near Khaira village under Sahar police station on Ara-Arwal main road, a speeding Pick-Up van collided head-on with the motorcycle injuring all the three youths on the motorcycle. The Bhojpur police admitted all the injured in the Arwal Sadar Hospital in Arwal district where Munnu Chaudhary succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The doctor referred two injured persons to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition.
