ONE KILLED, FOUR INJURED IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

SASARAM---------------------------One person was killed while four other injured when a motorcycle collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw at Telkap village under Rohtas police station on Dehari-Akbarpur main road in Rohtas district. The deceased was identified as Jagan Lal Kumar 33 son of Sardar Mistri of Amari Talab village under Karvandiya police station while the injured were identified as Jai Mangal Ram 33 son of Mahendra Ram of Badem Aurangabad, Mithlesh Ram 40 son of Rajdeo Ram of Telwaria village, Ajay Kumar 42 son of Yaduni Ram of Mohammad Ganj, Jharkhand and Shani Bhashkar 44 son of Govind Ram of Karvandiya village in Rohtas district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there but the doctors referred them to the PMCH in precarious condition.

SHO Rohtas police station Nutan Kumari said that the injured were going to Samhauta village in Kaimur district from Baden village in Rohtas district in an auto-rickshaw to attend a marriage ceremony when a speeding motorcycle collided head-on with the auto-rickshaw at Telkap village under Rohtas police station on Dehari-Akbarpur main road in Rohtas district in which the motorcycle borne youth was killed on spot and four persons on the auto-rickshaw were injured. Later the police seized the motorcycle and the auto-rickshaw.
