ONE INJURED IN EXCHANGE OF FIRE

Ara, 7 January 2023, (RNI): One person was injured in an exchange of fire in between two groups at Sarikpur Sand Ghat under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district over supremacy at Sand Ghat. Police rushed to the spot and started investigation. Tension prevails in and around the Sarikapur village following the incident.

Exchange of fire among different groups is common for supremacy on Sand Ghats in Bhojpur district though the police have arrested several persons and sent them jail but the incident seized to come to an end.

On Saturday, two groups clashed at Sarikpur Sand Ghat under Sandesh police station once again and exchanged several round of fire in which one person received bullet injuries. On information, the police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. Seeing the police members of both the groups escaped from the scene.
