ONE EVE-TEASER ARRESTED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) The eve-teasers shot at and injured a youth at Sundara village under Chandi police station when he went to catch them who were running away after teasing a young girl in the village. The injured was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condititon. The injured was identified as Rakesh Paswan 19 son of Ram Kumar Paswan alias Ghasetu Paswan of Sundara village under Chandi police station. The village also caught one of the fleeing miscreants and handed him over to the police after badly thrashing him.

Villagers said that some eve-teasers of Salempur village under Chandi police station were loitering around a High School at Sarathua village of Udwantnagar block. The girl students complained their guardians in this regard and the guardians had scolded them for their suspicious activities but they did not desist from their activities and in the evening on June 28, 2024, the eve-teachers mugged some girls and escaped. Meanwhile, the villagers chased them till Sundara village and also raised alarm to nab them. Hearing their cry, a youth from the Sundara village tried to catch the miscreants, they shot at and injured him. Irate villagers, caught three miscreants on a motorcycle but two of them somehow freed themselves and escaped from the scene. The villagers thrashed the miscreant and handed him over to the police. Later the police admitted the injured miscreant to the Ara Sadar Hospital and also recovered a country made pistol and two live cartridges from him. The arrested miscreant is a primary accused in the case No 73/23 under Chandi police station related to a murder.
