Buxar, 25 June 2023, (RNI): One person were electrocuted to death at different places today in Buxar district.
One Vidyanand Pandey 42 of Jagdara village under Industrial police station came in contact with a live electric wire and was electrocuted to death when he was going to the field to attend call of nature. The villagers said that a muscle man Balihar village under Simari police station Prem Singh had laid electric wife in the field to safe his field from animals. After the incident, he removed the wire from the field.
DSP Asfaque Akhtar Ansari said that the body seemed to be burnt from electric wire and his body was recovered from the field of Prem Singh though no electric wire was found from the spot. Police are investigating the matter. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The exact reason of the death would be confirmed only after the postmortem report is received.
