ONE DRIVER WAS KILLED

Ara, 23 June 2023, (RNI): One driver was crushed to death when a speeding car dashed a pick-up van near Dream Hotel under Koelwar police station on Ara-Patna NH-922. The deceased was identified as Ashish Kumar 20 son of Rajendra Yadav  of Lalan Ka Dera village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.  The police arrested the car driver and seized the car and the pick-up van.

SHO Koelwar police station Avinash Kumar said that Ashish Kumar was going to Brahmpur with mangoes in the Pick-Up van but the tyre of car punctured near Dream Hotel under Koelwar police station under Koelwar police station on Ara-Patna NH-922 in Bhojpur district. So the driver was changing the tyre on the roadside when a speeding car dashed from behind killing the driver on spot. The collision was so intense that the head of the pick-up van driver was chopped off.
