ARA-------------------------A one day training programme on Shree Food Production funded by NABARD was organized at Mahavir Mandir at Kulharia village on Ara-Patna main road in Bhojpur district.
Speaking on the occasion, Shashi Bhushan Kumar Shashi, agricultural Scientist explained in detail about weeds and control and nutrient management in millet crop.
DDM NABARD said that people should produce millet in maximum quantity. There are many schemes through which farmers will be benefited. Bank Manager Rajesh Chaudhary highlighted in detail the health benefits of consuming coarse grains.
Secretary, implementing agency, Antodaya Chetana Mandal, Ram Nath Thakur said that the schemes will be implemented literary on the ground. Although only 50 farmers have been added and other farmers will also be added upon expansion of the schemes. A total of 40 farmers participated in this programme.
