ONE ARRESTED WITH FIREARMS FOR DEMANDING EXTORTION

Ara, 9 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant and seized a country made pistol, one live cartridge and a motorcycle in connection with demanding of extortion of Rs. 1 lakh from Mukesh Kumar husband of Rinku Singh, former Pramukh, Bihia block though two miscreants escaped. Police are conducting raids to arrest them. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this regard against Dinagi Yadav son of Rajesh Yadav alias Langada Yadav, Binod Yadav son of Bucha Yadav and Dulaha Yadav alias Sandesh Yadav son of Laxman Yadav of Haradiya village. The arrested miscreants were identified as Dimagi Yadav son of Rajesh Yadav alias Langada Yadav of Haradiya village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district.

SHO Bihia police station said that Mukesh Kumar son of late Triveni Singh of Semardah village and husband of Rinku Singh, former block Pramukh, Bihia block, was sitting at his brick kiln near Nirmanpur village when motorcycle borne three armed miscreants came and demanded extortion of Rs. 1 lakh and when he protested, the miscreants threatened with dire consequences. When the labour at the brick kiln chased, the miscreants threw the country made pistol and motorcycle there fled away from the spot.
