NURSES CONTRIBUTE A LOT IN HEALTH SECTOR

Ara, 12 May 2023, (RNI): Contribution of nurses in medicare system as important as doctors. Nurses work at par with the doctors and patients. They worked for the welfare of the patients from dawn to dusk not caring for their own health. Contribution of nurses during COVID 19 is admirable when they nursed the ailing patients with determination and dedication though some of them had lost their lives in saving lives of patients but they did not deter and overlook their duties. 

Nurses worked for the patients at hospitals where the hospital management arranged safety and security for the doctors but nurses are left in lurch. They have to work even in night without any security and have to face a lot of problems though the guards are deputy for the security of lady doctors.

Nurses said that their duty and work are challenging. They have to manage their houses in the morning and have to be present on duty on time. The nurses whose children have become young, have some respite but the nurses having small children have to face a lot of problems in managing their houses and on work place.

Even the male nurses said that they chose this career with a view of serving ailing humanity. They said that they gain experiences and information and also feel good in nursing patients. Ara Sadar Hospital has five male nurses.

Ranjana Kumari, Rinki Kumari, Indu Kumari, nurses at the Ara Sadar Hospital shared their problems and dedication to the patients and said that the career of nursing is challenging and they have to manage both at residences and also at work places. They get salary on time but the most important is service to patients which is their aims and they enjoy it but the hospital lack their security and health. They stated that nurses serve with dedication and work to achieve their goal restlessly and manage for their necessities so that the patients do not have any problems. Saiyyad Aman Hussain, male nurse at the Ara Sadar Hospital, said that nursing service is challenging and male also contribute a lot in this field though nursing profession is mostly expected to be made for female. He said that he enjoys serving the patients and so he chose this profession.
