NURSE DIED UNDER MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES AT ARA
One private nurse died under mysterious circumstances near Badi Mathia under Ara town police station. She had left her house on hospital call and had gone to a private hospital at Mahavir Tola under Ara town police station for emergency delivery.
Ara (RNI) One private nurse died under mysterious circumstances near Badi Mathia under Ara town police station. She had left her house on hospital call and had gone to a private hospital at Mahavir Tola under Ara town police station for emergency delivery. The deceased was identified as Rekha Devi 39 wife of Arvind Kumar of Uttardaha village under Tier police station in Bhojpur district. She worked as a private nurse in a hospital near Judge Kothi Mor under Nawada police station and lived in a rented house at Nawada locality. The ASP Parichay Kumar along with police forced rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital and got information from the family members. The police got the postmortem of the body performed at the Ara Sadar Hospital.
ASP Parichay Kumar said that initial investigation reveals that Rekha Devi was a nurse in a private hospital and she was called to another hospital for delivery in the night. When she was returning after delivery, she fell ill and the hospital staff admitted her to the Ara Sadar Hospital where she died. He further said that the doctors are of the opinion that she died of cardiac arrest. He said that the exact reason of the death would be ascertained after the postmortem report and action would be taken accordingly.
On the other hand, Anup Kumar son of the deceased said that owner of a private hospital at Mahavir Tola called his mother on mobile for emergency delivery at about 8pm at his clinic and he had dropped his mother there. Next day in the morning the owner of the hospital informed him that his mother is ailing and was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. When he reached the Ara Sadar Hospital, he found his mother dead there. Anup Kumar further said that the owner of the private hospital had taken his mother to a private hospital at bypass but doctor was not there and so he took her to another private hospital at Dhanupura where the doctor declared her dead. He stated that the owner of the private hospital told him that his mother had left the hospital at about 4am. He had gone on morning walk and found that his mother was lying on the road near a Hanuman temple at Badi Mathia and so he rushed her to the Ara Sadar Hospital on a rickshaw. He further said that the owner of the hospital had told him that the mobile of his mother was missing and later said that she was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. He blamed that the call details of the mobile of his mother are deleted and he also blamed the owner of the hospital for the death of his mother.
